The thing about Intaglia that stands out to us the most is the ever-changing window displays.
We've walked by the store hundreds of times on our way to work over a couple years, but never stopped in for a visit (just always stared in the windows). Finally, we checked it out.
The classic contemporary style feels very at home on Clark Street (just north of Diversey) in a way that seems like it will stick around for a while. This shop is not about trends, but about satisfying many general needs through solid design and customization.
Although we've never purchased anything, others have said that their Intaglia experiences were good ones. Intaglia was originally established in St. Louis in 1994 and now has four total outposts: St. Louis, Chicago, and two in Georgia.
The store offers furnishings for every room and is "affordable"
(though we don't have any exact figures to quote for you.)
Anyone have some inside info?
