With a heavy East coast and international presence, Kathryn finally decided to set up shop in her neck of the woods. Nestled among a cozy enclave of shops just off of Almont Drive in West Hollywood, Kathryn M. Ireland Textiles and Design is a must stop for quite a few reasons. For starters, the cobblestone path leading up to a classic red, Dutch door was just a taste of what was in store.
Cozy is an understatement when describing Kathryn's second floor showroom--overstuffed couches, pillows galore and lots of color in the form of organic textiles. Kathryn also lends her creative genius to lampshades, patterned wallpaper and of course, her growing library of home decor books (the latest addition--Creating a Home). Some of our favorite finds in Kathryn's shop: the tiny linoleum cut prints in vintage frames by Hugo Guinness, beautiful Ralli Quilts that tell an amazing story, and the sterling silver overlay Mexican beverage glasses. With an aspiring array of color combos and pairing patterns, Kathryn's textiles are perfect for anyone ready to overhaul those old pillows and window treatments.
