Lime Green

AT:Nursery readers have the coolest sources. We had never heard of Lime Green, until Keith and Natalie let us in for a rour of baby Roman's nursery, and after perusing this store, we knew that it was one to bookmark.

It was Roman's Sock Gorilla that we saw first from Lime Green, and not only is he charming, but at $16 he is also imminently affordable. For our Canadian readers, there is an equally adorable Sock Moose.

No Barbie dolls here - just a well edited selection of interesting stuff for kids. Toys, room decor, furniture, science and nature kits, dress-up stuff for pretend play, and even a little something for the dog here. Below, a few of our favorites from the Lime Green catalog.

Isn't this a clever design? This table with primary benches would be great in a small-sized room. $125.00.

There are several things we love about the Design and Drill, starting with the fact that it is being demonstrated by a girl. $40.00.

Storing and displaying kids' art doesn't have to be limited to putting it up on the fridge. The L'il DaVinci Art Cabinet lets you change out the art easily, while at the same time storing previous masterpieces. 12"x18" cabinet is $34.00.

There are too many fun things to show here (including the adult sock monkey slippers), and it is definitely worth the time to peruse the Lime Green website. Prices are good, and it is refreshing to see toys that aren't branded to a breakfast cereal, kid's movie, or Saturday morning cartoon.
