Mid-C Mecca.

We were late to a meeting the other day on 20th street because we ended up rooting about Lin/Weinberg, after spotting it's impeccable 2nd floor window from the street.

Lin/Weinberg is aspirational.

Heading towards the high end, Andy Lin and Larry Weinberg have been open since 1995, finding and selling mint condition 20th Century furniture and decorative art. Even if you don't normally like this stuff, this shop will turn your cheek.

If you are a designer, it is worth just coming by to take a look and make notes.

We particularly like the Hans Wegner chairs ($2,900 pr), the 1950 carved table lamps ($2,200) and the super George Nelson "Home Desk" ($11,400).

If this is your style, stop by here after you win the lottery. MGR
