We were over at Chelsea Market passing through a shop on the ground floor called 202, when we had our first Design*Sponge
moment in a long time. All around us were stunning, colorful, simple glass and dinnerware that we just LOVED! We just couldn't think of enough GOOD THINGS to say about this stuff. We're CRAZY about it.
It seems that Nicole Farhi is expanding in the grand tradition of all designers who get restless (and probably have investors looking to grow, grow, grow). Her new shop is an "full English" breakfast eatery with her clothing and her home collection on display.
The good stuff is the glassware and ceramics, which remind us of Alex Marshall. Favorites include her thick glass decanters and white coffee cups and dishes. Prices are upmarket but not unreasonable.
We recommend. MGR
