We love things that serve multiple functions. So it’s no surprise that OFFICE – a combination office-supply store and art gallery – is a favorite of ours.
OFFICE stocks supplies from the coolest companies around, including Russell+Hazel, Blu Dot and Pina Zangaro. And, in addition to the usual items for your workspace, you’ll find travel goods, books, beautiful letterpress stationery, home accessories (coasters, pillows) and even furniture.
In the art department, the store carries the work of locals such as Trish Grantham (who we blogged about last Friday), Evan B. Harris and Amy Ruppel.
Tony Secolo and Kelly Coller are the husband-and-wife team behind OFFICE. Given that they both come from creative backgrounds – she works for a design firm, he was previously with Getty Images – it’s no surprise that the store is such a visual treat. The design for the space was inspired by offices from the 1950s; hence the metal desks and Bakelite accessories.
The couple has succeeded in turning something as mundane as shopping for paper clips into a fun activity. Stop by in person or buy online.
