Robin and Blake Eastwood have an eye for vintage wares and knack for selling them online. Following a successful three year run on etsy, during which they sold more than 2,500 items, the Eastwood's have started their own retail site called Red Line Vintage.
At Red Line Vintage, goods are sectioned off by function (furniture, kitchen, etc.) and by decade. Robin and Blake also package pieces together in collections. The most recent collection they've put together, Study Hall 2012, is devoted to back to school items. Shoppers can also root through sold items for a taste of what they've missed.

I can see the appeal of this if I were into buying & decorating with antiques simply for the look or prestige of having those pieces in my home. But I am a tactile person. It has to feel good against my skin, feel comfortable & inviting when I am sitting on it, & I must be able to handle it, turn it over & around to see it from all angles. I much rather prefer getting up early to beat the crowds for the best choices, or take my chances by strolling in late after enjoying a relaxing Saturday morning meet up with coffee & bagels with my girlfriends. Many times after admiring the "left overs", but regretfully shaking my head that "it just isn't what I had in mind, though it IS lovely", I will be ushered into a back room & shown something "special that was being saved for later". Score!
But shopping on-line for antiques just doesn't have that thrill.
I've been a fan of Robin's since her Etsy days, and I must say I absolutely LOVE the new shop! She and her husband find THE coolest stuff and have such a knack for display. Congrats on a lovely feature!

agree with you, spent 3 weeks going to vintage stores in my vacation.
On the other hand I LOVE what they have for sale, I would have bought that dog letter stand in a heartbeat , but it is already sold.
Shopping flea markets online takes all the FUN out of "spending hours pawing through dusty old stuff in search of elusive treasures". Besides which, even if I considered The Hunt as labor & assigned it a $ value, the $8 I paid for #3 remains a steal. No thanks.
Lovely site w/great finds though. I do enjoy browsing it now & again.
