Spring Patterns from Jane Churchill: English Eclectic Style

This is a cool mid-March find — a link to Jane Churchill's wallpaper and fabric patterns arrived recently in our inbox. (She has a new rug collection that's soon to debut with Patterson, Flynn & Martin.) Churchill's patterns evoke the chintzy florals of the British "granny chic" aesthetic, but they're airier and more modern than some of the stuff you'll find at old-school design houses like Sanderson or Morris & Co.

The company advertises its aesthetic as "an easy-to-live-with tone" that translates through wallpapers, fabrics, trimmings, and — now — rugs. My favorite is the Calder Collection, a mix of bright florals that's printed on wallpaper, velvet, and embroidered fabrics.

For more information, visit JaneChurchill.com and watch Patterson, Flynn, and Martin's site for the new rug collection soon.
