Store History

  • Founded: 2010
  • Founded by: Dezeen
  • Headquarters: London, UK

One of our favorite British design blogs, Dezeen, is opening a pop-up shop for the holidays... and beyond. Designed to go on the road — popping up in various locations — the shop is a showcase for independent designers and cutting-edge brands. Its first stop is a ten-day appearance in London, from December 9th through the 19th.

The Temporium focuses specifically on UK designers who make everything from fashion to furniture. It's an interesting project to check out if you want to know who's who in the world of emerging European design. So far, the confirmed roster includes:

Philippe Malouin: furniture designer
Lee Broom: contemporary lighting
Charlene Mullen: luxury embroidery
Jacqueline Rabun: jewelry and objects
Bocci: contemporary lighting
Shan Valla: glass and porcelain
Undergrowth Design: tabletop and accessories
Faye Toogood: unusual artist-made objects
Tracey Nuels: shoe designer
Miranda Watkins: contemporary tabletop

Dezeen is collaborating on this project with the Dezeen Watch Store, Deborah Spencer (sales), and Alice Breed (press). For more info, click here.
