Trend is committing to producing decorative products, like their mosaic and agglomerate collections made of recycled glass, that deliver inspired design, innovative technology, and that minimize the impact on the environment.
The Trend Group makes beautiful solid mosaic and agglomerate surfaces from 60-70% post consumer recycled glass (the rest of the composition being raw materials such as oxides required for melting and refining glass). The glass used is sourced completely from external glass recycling facilities. Their primary eco collections, Feel and Trend Q, set a new standard for the use of recycled glass in agglomerate and glass tile products. Oh, and did we mention how pretty they are?
Both Feel and Trend Q are made out of everyday bottles and glass containers. Feel is Trend's industrial mosaic product, and it's made with up to 78% post consumer recycled glass. It's available in the standard 3/4" x 3/4" size and 5/32" thickness. Trend Q is the agglomerate surface containing up to 71% post consumer recycled glass. It comes in square or rectangular slabs measuring measuring a maximum of 118" x 24". Trend Q can be applied to exiting surfaces, which makes it perfect for use as a floor, wall covering, or countertop.
Other eco products from the Trend Group include thin, lightweight and durable engineered stone surfaces, such as Cristallino, which is made out of pyrex glass sourced from the automotive industry (windshields, rearview mirrors, etc.), and Prezioso, which is made out of the waste from Trend's own glass production.
All of Trend's agglomerate products (including TrendQ, Cristallino, Prezioso, Touch, and RockSolid) are GreenGuard Children and Schools Certified, due to their low-emissions. Trend is also an active member of the Green Building Councils in both the US and Italy.
