Trohv, the phonetic spelling for "trove", defines their style as "urban grit meets southern sensibility". While I couldn't have phrased it better myself, you could also add they offer up some sweet, southern-style hospitality! The owners, as well as the shop personnel, are more than helpful without being overbearing — so feel free to browse to your heart's content. And make sure you allow yourself enough time to do just that.
Inside you'll find vintage enamel teapots and blue mason jars alongside Thomas Paul jute pillows and John Robshaw bedding. Need a new couch? They've got that covered as well; you can choose from leather to a multitude of upholstery options. Does your urban garden need a funky planter? Why not choose a vintage factory cart or an industrial steel bin to house your zinnias. But what do I love most about Trohv? Their desire to continually source local artisans and craftspeople for Trohv's ever-growing collection of ceramics, paper goods, soap, jewelry and art. And be sure to turn your attention to the imaginative window displays. They have lured me in with their delightful story on more than one occasion. But don't take my word for it. Pop in and pay them a visit, it's worth the trip!
