Twinkle first caught our eye in a July issue of Time Out Chicago, in which Wenlan Chia, the woman behind Twinkle designs, was profiled in a Maker's mark column. We tore out the page and have been hanging on to it ever since. Finally, we got a chance to visit the New York-based designer's work online, which includes a range of clothing, jewelry, and home designs full of shapes and patterns, unicorns and puppies.
As far as we know, only designs for your body can currently be found in Chicago (at Tangerine and LiLi Boutique). For the Twinkle Living line, you'll have to deal with cross-country shopping, and keep an eye/ear out for which local stores may take on Twinkle's throws ($300+), pillows ($50-70), rugs ($1,200-3,700), and assorted bedding in the future.
