The Barn House Marketplace

When decorating our homes we usually start with the main "visible" rooms, then graduate on to the more private spaces, like the bathroom. I love the idea of using really fantastic vintage pieces for a room that you might not usually decorate. The boys from The Barn House have a great collection of just such pieces - perfect for the bathroom or any room in your home.

The Barn House Marketplace and Barn House blog are preserved and lovingly cared for by Joe and Jermonne, who have an eye for well-worn and attractive pieces. Their barn is located in Southwest Washington, not far from Vancouver, and is filled with prizes from their treasure hunts. Three times a year they host an open-house vintage market at their barn. This past January they decided to launch an on-line marketplace so that those of us living too far to visit in person can shop their lovely collection.

Their upcoming open houses will be May 8, July 31 and September 25. You can read more details about their events on their website.

Here are just a few items from their collection that would be well-suited to your stylish and relaxing bathroom.
