Whenever we need a bit of inspiration we check out what Weego Home has to offer. Started as a an "antidote to the uber-chic minimalist furniture stores that have left you feeling hungry for some color, pattern and a little fun" the showroom is awash in bright patterns and sophisticated furnishings. The showroom also serves as a great reminder that you can do a lot with a neutral base. Most of their display sofas and beds are neutral in color but are layered with colorful, patterned accessories. It took us a couple of visits before we realized how much a pop of wallpaper, a well placed pillow and a mixture of textures (glass, wool, and chrome for instance) could make a room feel lively and comfortable.
The showroom is stocked with their custom furniture pieces in classic silhouettes and accessories from the likes of Thomas Paul and Jonathan Adler plus wallpaper designed by Florence Broadhurst and Ferm Living. They've got a great selection of lighting and the staff is really helpful and knowledgable. Check out their sister store, Weego Baby for modern baby furniture and accessories fit for adults.
Plus right now through February 15th they're having a sale on accessories, case goods and upholstery, just enter weego2009 at checkout for 15% off.
