An emphasis on service and free shipping is what sets Zac and Zoe apart. Their site is a great place to browse all the best in modern furnishings for the nursery- cribs, rocking chairs, and tables, desks, and chairs. You'll find all the hottest designers for children in one place as well as find some things for yourself with their selection of stylish chairs and desks sized for adults.

Zac and Zoe carries items from many of the most popular companies designing for children with a modern aesthetic like Nurseryworks, Oeuf, ZidZid Kids, ducduc, and P'Kolino just to name a few. In addition to the adult items we mentioned above, many of the items geared toward children have a more sophisticated, adult appeal. Here's a sampling to show you what we mean:

The grey, green and orange-hued Modern Future Map ($65) shown above is both attractive and educational as it depicts continents in proportional size to one another.

This wool Avalisa Deer Rug could find a happy spot in an earth-tone or woodland-themed nursery or kid's room or, for that matter, in your living room, dining room or den.

Among the dozen or so adult chairs is this pricey ($1475) but beautiful Ralph Rapson Rapid Rocker.

Although made by Nurseryworks (and not ready for shipment for a few months), this versatile Storytime Double Bookcase ($1250, in an array of colors) could work just as easily in a nursery, child's bedroom or playroom as anywhere else in your home.

One thing we'd change about their website is to add a search box. Often we're just happy to browse by category, but sometimes we know just what we're looking for and want to navigate to it quickly.

Zac and Zoe offers free shipping on most items so if you can't find what you're looking for in your own neighborhood - check them out.
