Zella Brown opened its doors in Wicker Park just last year, and we stumbled upon it unexpectedly a few weeks ago.

We decided we just had to make time to browse. A large, colorful showroom mixes styles and tastes in a sophisticated-meets-fun sort of way.

Mainly for home goods like furniture, pillows, rugs, lighting (they even do custom upholstery), the interesting thing about Zella Brown is that they include artwork as a necessary "accessory" for home life.

Owner and interior designer Trisha London and her staff were both informative and friendly, offering a custom experience at this original boutique.

The store regularly features an artist (from anywhere in the country), hosting events and a changing collection for sale. Currently, Zella Brown is featuring paintings by Lacey Windschitln (visit the site to see sample works).
