In response to a New York Times article discussing the virtues of line drying laundry in the midst of community opposition, the NYT blog Green Inc. called out for its readers to submit photos and experiences of their clotheslines.
Each contributor provides a different perspective on the clothes drying experience, such as getting closer to nature, carrying on a family tradition, figuring out alternate uses for the clothes line (drying plastic bags) and enjoying the fresh smell of air dried linens. The images are not only fun to look through, but are also a great source of inspiration.
