There's something undeniably nostalgic about our old media collections. Whether it's cassette tapes, compact discs, or vinyl records - having it all out and on display gives a calm and peaceful mix of vintage and modern, wonderfully married by the daily work we do in our offices during the everyday grind.
Ah, serenity. We can't remember the last time we busted out our record player, but we have a stack of dusty LPs just waiting to rock out. Vampire Weekend seems to be calling our name... maybe this weekend, it'll get some love.
We also dig the way reader Laurel Walter at Desire to Inspire has set up her vinyl and book collection for easy browsing in case guests are looking for some visual stimulation. Though we'd argue that her generous use of natural, vintage, and industrial elements are more than enough to keep our eyes wandering for hours.
She also has a ridiculous number of globes. More here.
