Q: Can anyone recommend a good source for fabric shower curtains? I like items I saw offered by India Rose, but $97 shower curtains are out of my reach. I would like something modern and spa-like, but at an affordable price. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Shaw's Original Fir...
There are really nice ones at Target that are moderately priced. And the website will tell you if they're available in store so you can go see them yourself!
I love these

and they have some cool selections under 30 bucks at urban outfitters

Dwell Studio designed a great line for Target. I love Dwell's designs and Target has them at a great price. Highly recommended!
A while back, Nook did a good round-up of modern shower curtains.

Try looking at the Apt 9 brand at Kohls.
Their items go on sale fairly quickly. I'd check it out for kicks.
If you're the DIY sort, hunt out a book called "French General: Home Sewn" - it has a pattern which would easily be modifiable to be more modern by using fabric paint or whatever you wish.
target, world market, bed bath & beyond, ebay (though anthro ones usually bid back up to original price)
Bed, Bath & Beyond has pretty ones for around $30-50. If you have time, i recommend you to go to the store and touch the fabrics (i know, i'm a little crazy about this).
You wont be disappointed.
My shower curtain is from anthropologie. I splurged on it and I love it. It really pulls the room together.
Ebay is a good option if you're looking for something in specific. I would recommend just using a plastic, clear liner until you find the right shower curtain for you.
Ikea has some passable stuff that are sometimes cute. I would look there as well.
If you can sew a straight line, large table cloths make great shower curtains. They're just the right size. And if you don't sew you can buy curtain hooks that clip on (I know Ikea has them) and then you don't even need a rod pocket or button holes!
Try a company called clothcrafters in wisconsin. They make a great looking white heavy cloth shower curtain at a reasonable price. It can be machine washed. If you need a special size it can be custom made for a good price.
All their products are natural and long lasting.
