We all have areas of green living that we're particularly diligent about (in our case, recycling) and then there are areas that we're kind of slackers at. Showering happens to be our vice. Long, hot showers to be precise.
How long? We're not really sure as we don't keep a clock in the bathroom and, frankly, prefer it that way.
We were perusing the Envirosax website recently and saw that they are giving away a free shower timer with every pouch of their reusable bags. They also have this "Water Wisdom" to offer:
- Enjoy 3-4 minute showers
- Fit water efficient shower heads and fix leaky taps
- Shower small children together
- Limit the flow while soaping and shampooing
If you're already stocked up on reusable bags, you can purchase one of their 4-minute shower timers for $3. Or, you probably have a timer kicking around in your board game collection (Yahtzee anyone?) you can use or how about a kitchen timer?
Does your family time their showers?
