We've never been big on paper shredders. Although they're handy and ensure no one that digs through your trash can end up pretending to be you, they take up space and don't really offer anything aesthetically — that is until now. This coffee table paper shredder is ridiculously adorable and a visual nod to paper waste in general. Check out a video of it in action after the jump!

Coffee tables don't do much to begin with (outside of giving you a place to set a drink or a book), so turning one into something functional that can eliminate another product in your home is A-OK with us! Especially when it's something that looks as stylish as this does.

We love the idea of being able to repurpose our shredded paper waste as filler for gift bags or packing boxes when moving fragile items. Just because something can be recycled, doesn't mean it can't do a little more before it heads back to the plant!

You can contact Pigeon Tail Design for information on pricing, though we've heard it hits the $2,000 mark.
