Wow! This room just feels so sunny, I love it!

Not a fan of the art, but it does suit the room! :) I do quite love the dark wood chairs on the white wall, though - it has a great grounding effect.

On my monitor it looks more like an egg-yolk yellow, but it's stunning, I love it with the white and also the colours in your artwork. My absolute favourite so far.

I would call this yellow, but maybe that's my monitor, whatever the color I adore what I'm seeing. How could someone ever feel unhappy in such a room?

On my iPad -- color calibrated -- this is raincoat yellow. I love it. It comes across as a decisive, non-trendy choice. With the Swedish (?) chairs, the bright plaid upholstery and the black and white pillows, everything is crisp and lively without being garish. You have a good eye.

Ditto--my first thought was that it looked like the yolk from a free-range chicken's egg. Whatever it is, orange or golden egg-yolk yellow, it's a happy choice for an accent wall in a room that gets plenty of natural light. Nice job.

I love it. It makes me want to go into that room and bask in the color.

Looks 'raincoat yellow' to me too (lol at r&r). Not an orange fan here by any stretch of the imagination but even so....if this appeared orange on my monitor, I'd still call it gorgeous. Personally, the artwork makes my squirm in my skin but I gotta admit it is a PERFECT complement here. Well done.

Overall, not something I could live with day in & day out, but I'd snatch up an invite in a heartbeat just to sit & soak in this golden-orange glory for a wee bit. Really. I don't need to see any more in this category. My vote is cast.

I agree, it looked yellow on the monitor, but I can see how it could be orange in real life. I have to say that I really don't like bright colors, and particularly yellow, on the walls, but even so this looks absolutely great--really graphic and fresh and clean--and I am voting for it.

It looks yellow on my screen not orange. Like the yellow...probably would like it more if it was orange. A really happy room!

(I forget... is there a huge difference in the Spanish language between orange and yellow? I half-remember something like that from hs spanish class, but I could have made it up. In certain asian languages, there isn't a strict differentiation between green and blue, for example.)

Love the popsicle artwork! Although I wish there were more angles to the picture; three of the photos are pretty much redundant. (The colors are bleeding/oversaturated too, so maybe it really is more orange in person?)

@lepidoptery, in Spanish yellow and orange are very different colours. We even make it more complicated and have a very specific hue of orange that we call "color calabaza" (the colour of butternut squash).

Ditto on the raincoat yellow. To my personal taste surprise, I like ALL of it!

I really think this a great yellow! It is a room filled with brilliant sunshine to come into for the morning coffee! I like it!

This is a cute room, but I don't think that the photos represent the real colors. If you go on her blog, you will see that most of her photos are over saturated or tweaked to make the colors more vibrant than they really are. You can also see a time lapse video of her painting this room which clearly shows that the room is orange. I wish that the colors of her photos were more real life and not exaggerated. Having said that I think that the orange is fun.

I love it. I haven't seen a yellow room done right and I think you did. Very bright and cheerful. IT actually made me smile like a cheshire cat.

This is a lovely room. The colour is gorgeous, bold, and very saturated without being too heavy. Yellow. orange, potato/potahto. Whatevs. Who cares if it's been tweaked? Have we never applied a little extra make-up, or worn sparkly jewellery for The Big Date?

Hi guys;-) i just want to clear things up. When i was painting the room it was a gloomy day and it was already later in the day, so the gif is indeed darker. I wish you could see the room in real life, because it is really bright, i often think, that the camera doesnt catch the real colors, i edit the pictures a little to make them look how i see it through my eyes:-)
