We've lost more than one plant to mysterious illnesses in the past. Sometimes looking at photos online and asking our gardening friends and family members just isn't enough help. So we're glad to know about the UC Berkeley Botanical Garden's monthly Sick Plant Clinic. Garden Pathologist Dr. Robert Raabe leads the clinic, and entomologists are on hand to help identify bugs and other pests. The next clinic is April 5th, and you're asked to bring all sick plants or clippings covered in bags or other containers. See the Botanical Garden website for more information.
