Sidecar Furniture TV Console by David Johnson

If there was one piece we could imagine ourselves actually wanting for our own apartment that we during our parade of the Dwell on Design exhibition this past weekend, it would have to be this TV Console by Sidecar Furniture of Pasadena. Vintage midcentury aesthetics but with present-day tech storage in mind, the low lying TV Console's four sliding doors reveal adjustable shelving for all your home theater components...

The piece was wonderfully tactile in nature, with the cane woven panels, mahogany and canary wood all inviting...no tempting...our curious fingers to slide across each surface. We spoke to Sidecar Furniture designer David Johnson and his wife about a possible future house tour once they settle into a new abode, but for now, we hope you drop by the Sidecar Furniture for a peek at their portfolio of beautiful furnishings (we didn't see the Portfolio Desk, but let's add that to our want list too)
