It's time to break out the the holiday decor! This year, add a few elements of sparkle with these simple DIY's. Since they don't scream Christmas, they will last well into the new year and can reemerge for birthdays and celebrations throughout the coming months.
For an elegant centerpiece (that won't wilt) paint a handful of pinecones white, dip the tips in glitter, and gather them together in a bowl, as shown in image 3.
A roll of gold washi tape can be used in numerous ways throughout the holiday's and afterward. Anything from solid gold tape to gold and silver patterned tapes are great for gifts and other decorations.
Make the holidays a party with metallic tassels. You can use string, fabric or tissue paper for different affects.
