Q: I saw this image awhile back and have since then been on a hunt since for these smaller, wooden shelves. I've tried IKEA, Target and even Overstock, but no luck finding these slatted individual wooden shelves. Perhaps a reader out there might identify these shelves somewhere, or can suggest very similar versions they've seen elsewhere? Thanks!

Editor: These remind us of IKEA shelves from over 10 years ago — but we're certain there is something similar out there. Who has suggestions for Kay?

They look like trivets that have been re-engineered so that they can be attached to the wall. For the trivets: Pier I, Christmas Tree Shops?
I'm, pretty sure that what we're looking at is a shelve that you can buy at a Swedish store called Bolagret. I've got a few of my own. Take a look at (in Swedish) http://shop.bolagret.se/webshop/shop.asp?group=163&view=1&query_type=&maxhits=&query=&article=7332494087247

could you make these out of orchid pots?
i think those bolagret shelves are exactly the ones i'm looking for! unfortunately, also appears that they only ship within sweden...i'm at a loss when it comes to getting these exact shelves it seems.
You could diy some similar, albeit large, shelves by modding Ikea's Platta decking.

How about using the shelves from the Molger shelving unit:

You could even hack the rails to emulate the ones hanging down the wall behind the shelves.
