While I was at work on Tuesday, I spied this amazing little package sitting on a colleague's desk. It was left for her son, Nico, from the mother of one of his daycare playmates. It's so simple, yet totally eye-catching (it caught my eye, anyway).
Take a recycled craft paper envelope and different colors of string or embroidery thread and you, too, can have a thoroughly modern, unique and green gift wrapping solution. You could easily wrap something larger with a recycled paper grocery bag or, really, any paper that's blank on one side (I like to use the pages of those large calendars that Asian grocery stores sometimes give away).
Thanks to my colleague, Carolyn, for letting me share this.

Sprout Side Table
Cutest package ever! Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely beautiful!
I like to take apples and pears, and cut them in half, paint the halves, and use them as stamps on brown paper. Then once that dries, I draw in a little stem and leaf near the stem with green marker or crayon, and then wrap up the gift. I also love to use twine. It's my go-to wrapping solution, and works for every age and gender. But this is even easier, and just as lovely! Thanks for sharing. :)
