We have #1 (Ona Pitcher) and #3 (SLOM) and they're both tricky to clean... especially the Ona, which tends to build up deposits in the hollow "handle."
I have the Macy's version of Ona, and I like it, but it doesn't hold very much,
I love the Ikea one - it's a bit tricky to clean, but a bottle-brush (look in the bottle-and-baby-formula section of the grocery store; they're like 3$) works like a charm for this. They're also dirt cheap, they stack, and while they need to be filled with a funnel (or someone with a steadier hand than I have), they seal well enough that I've used them to mix up big batches of cocktails, filled 4-5 bottles, and stacked them in the fridge to take out throughout the party.
I use the ikea ones for water, pouring filtered water. I love it, something about glass, I think the water gets colder and taste better.
I have #10 and love it! Great quality and I constantly get compliments on it! I also bought the matching glasses which I love
We have the Ona one as well and it is hard to clean, even with a bottle brush.
... how can either ikea bottle possibly stack? Unless you mean you are putting them on their sides and they stack because SLOM is basically a straight bottle with a stopper.....
We got the Ona 5 years ago as a wedding gift and I love it.
I actually don't find it hard to clean. I just put it in the dishwasher angled down so the mouth is horizontal.
@RocketScientist - We don't have a dishwasher now, so we have to hand clean the Ona - not easy. But we had trouble even with our previous dishwasher, since it's very tall and I was always worried about chipping the spout. If I were buying a new pitcher, I'd go with #5 or #6.
Yeah, sorry, that's what I meant - they stack on their sides in the fridge without leaking (which, when lacking vertical space, is a huge selling point...) . :)
Not sure if it's the same in the States, but I went to IKEA in Vancouver, Canada last weekend to get #3 and they've discontinued the line. I was going to use it to put home made vanilla extract for Christmas gifts to some relatives. Love #10.
I have several of these but my favorite is the #6 from Adagio Teas. Classy!! And much sturdier than it looks.
