Simple Bedside Tablescapes

The area around your bed can be a direct reflection of your state of mind. For instance, when your bedside table is crowded with books, electronic chargers, and a dirty water glass, you're probably in the middle of a stressful week. Taking the time to clear the space where you sleep is an important part of maintaining a restful bedroom... There are differing ideas about how to stock the bedside table. We like to keep it simple with just a lamp, an alarm clock, and whatever we're currently reading, but many people prefer to decorate their tabletop with a candle and maybe some family photos. If you're the type that likes to have a lot of stuff on hand, we recommend getting a bedside table with storage and keeping the top surface as clear as possible. A clean surface creates a "blank slate" for the next day.
