We love this simple sewing project as a way to use fabric scraps--and save on the heating bill!
We spotted these snake-like pillows at Cape Cod Crafters, though they're just as easy to make on your own. Filled with play sand, (try tucking a little lavender in them for a soothing scent) they help block gaps at the foot of a door or at a windowsill.
In the summer, use one around an air conditioner!
Here's how.

This is a great idea to promote, but hardly new. These things were all over the place at my relatives' houses back in the day. They were usually full of dried beans.
