Simple Green: Vote!

We don't like to venture into politics too much here at Re-nest. We tend to think, regardless of party affiliation, the majority of us want to do the right thing for the planet. So best to leave all that other stuff at the door.

But, we just can't help ourselves today, on the eve of an historic national election; we're getting political.

VOTE! If you haven't already, please vote! (We know we're mostly preaching to the choir here, but still .... VOTE!)There are a lot of environmental issues that hang in the balance tomorrow. From the national scene to the local. So, we're urging everyone to do their homework tonight -- bone up on those local propositions and ballot measures, the local politicians and presidential candidates, and make choices that reflect a commitment to protecting the environment.

We've been looking at the League of Conservation Voters web site and reading up over at Grist's Guide to 2008 Environmental Ballot Measures.

How are you doing your homework?
