The home theater in a box
has gradually evolved from a questionable combination of speakers, DVD/ CD player, and receiver to the current offerings where you can now find some pretty solid components in an easy to setup package. It looks like this is a common trend for consumers in purchasing home theater, so Epson
is putting together one of their own...on steroids. This package includes a 100 inch motorized screen, 5.1 surround sound system with 10 inch subwoofer along with all the necessary cables and tracks to manage the cables.
The best part of this setup is that the front speakers are integrated into the screen while the surround speakers are part of the projector. An automatically retracting secreen and no visible external speakers allows you to keep your clean minimal aesthetic intact. At $7000, this doesn't come cheap, but considering the cost of all the components seperately, this actually looks like a pretty good deal.
