I'm a bright and bold pattern gal through and through, but when it comes to the bedroom give me spare, rustic, farmhouse-inspired simplicity and I'll sleep like a baby.
There's something pleasantly calming about a light, minimal sleep space whether in a country cottage or a city loft.

I love the floor in the first picture.
dying to know where the bed headboard/foot in post 8 came from LOVE IE
Cool, you switched to <ol>, that's a listing with numbers instead of bullet points for all you non-geeks! Thanks, it's much better to follow up now. Keep up the good work :-)
Interesting that most of the bedding pictured is white or a variation of white. I've debated with myself about going all white in the bedroom but have so far resisted. I may have to give it go; the rooms pictured look so restful and peaceful.
The bed in post 8 is the Mendocino bed from Pottery Barn. I bought mine in 1999, but they still offer it on their site.
I am NOT looking forward to dealing with the danger zone that is my bedroom this weekend. These rooms make me want to clear it all out and start fresh!
