So strange - I had no idea what this shape of chair was called and have been trying to find out for a while. I even considered sending in a question to AT but couldn't figure out how to describe them!
The other trick with these chairs - if they are squared front to back, not tapered, you can push them up against each other to create a sofa. Two dining chairs + one sitting chair = sofa for movies! You can even screw little latches on their underside to help keep them together in this setup. Seriously, when you live in a space so small you can't realistically have a sofa, this work around is awesome.
