One of the greatest surprises I've discovered while living in Singapore has been the influx of contemporary architecture — especially residential architecture. The homes aren't always easy to see from the street but there are plenty of modern enthusiasts in Singapore keeping track of new projects.
One such devotee is Amir Sultan from SG Living Pod. Amir is a photographer and design afficianado and has some wonderful images of the modern homes in Singapore. One such home, designed by Aamer Architects, really caught my eye. Aside from the obvious big-budget, the Dalvey House showcases a fresh take on the family home. The tropical-modern aesthetic takes advantage of the lush greenery and bright natural light while providing ample privacy and shade.
