If you want to build a dollhouse for your child, there are plenty of tutorials out there on the internet to help you along. Slightly rarer are plans for a more outdoorsy dwelling like a doll treehouse. And even rarer are toy treehouses that look this sleek and simple.

Alex at Northstory designed this treehouse using inexpensive wooden cutting boards as the main material. Most of the pieces that go into this toy are already pre-made, so there's very little raw carpentry needed. And as a result, the final look is modern and sleek, with nice touches of whimsy. Surely any doll would be happy to hang out here.
