We were a little surprised to discover the geek set over at Slashdot shared our overall opinion about Black Friday sales. According to a recent online poll, nearly 3/4 voted Black Friday meant "nothing at all" to them. While a few voted for Cyber Monday sales as their preferred sales date, one could deduce the more tech savvy don't put as much weight in either of the media-sales driven sales days than the average consumer, possibly because savvy online shoppers can find similar deals throughout the year. Did you participate in this year's sales and prove the geek set wrong, or did you just skip out knowing you can find deals at a later time?
