When we first saw this media unit our first thought was a strategically placed combination of Ikea kitchen cabinets, frosted glass doors and plywood.

While we love the design of this and can see it in our own space, when we found out that the price was $8500 we realized that with some construction skill you can in fact pick up almost everything you need to replicate this cabinet from Ikea.

The only thing left would be to veneer the side leg with a sheet of metal. Anyone up for an Ikea hack?
