We would have loveloveloved it if our schedule had permitted us to go to Kids.Modern this past weekend. (The fact that this design show is held in London was also a slight problem.) Fortunately, some of our fellow design bloggers were able to attend, so we can live vicariously through them. There's a great two-part recap on Minor Details, featuring, among other things, the super-cool Slam Threestyle Door pictured above.
The Slam Doors website is a bit minimalistic, so we're having a tough time tracking down much info about this door, other than the fact that it was designed by James Lucas. But we can imagine that any child (or any grownup who fantasizes about reenacting scenes from Alice in Wonderland) would be enchanted by the idea of having their own kid-sized entrance.

they have several wood options ( oak, pine, sapele, maple) and custom make them to fit any door frame. it would be pricey for US customers but definitely great inspiration for someone with a wood shop and saw!
OMG....how cute is that!Great idea too :)
very " goldie locks and the three bears"!!! so cute I want one with a little dog door too!
that is so cute! my kids would love it!
At first, that looked like the coolest thing ever... and then the mamabrain kicked in and I thought to myself "yeah, three times the opportunity for crushed little fingers playing with a door they can't resist..."
Sorry, it's been one of those weeks... I should just buy my little daredevil a helmet and get it over with.
