Cities have so much to offer in the way of culture, excitement, food, and fun, but in exchange for all that fabulousness, we cityfolk give up something precious: a starry sky. Stars scattered on sheets can never take the place of those jewels in the sky, but they certainly can't hurt...
- AnOther spotted these gorgeous constellation sheets at the Tree Hotel in Sweden- that deep midnight blue is sexy and soothing at the same time.
- I've been tempted by this Reversible Constellation Duvet Cover from Urban Outfitters for awhile now. First, because it's one of the few duvet covers out there for less than $100, and second, because of the gentle play of white stars on a pale grey ground. I still can't decide if it's too..kidlike. What do you think?
- The Sin In Linen Stars Comforter is also reversible- I love that pale red!
- If you'd like to add a little geek chic to your boudoir, these vintage-style rocket-age flannel sheets from Garnet Hill are playful but classy. Oh, and did I mention they glow in the dark? Still classy? Discuss.
- Wasp's Star Cushions from Rockett St George are classy, no doubt: "hand printed cushions using vintage, British, upcycled fabrics".
- Rockett St George's Hot Pink Star Cushion, however, throws a little sass in the mix. As we've discussed, the the combination of beautiful neutrals with a dash of neon can be irresistible. Or horrible, depending on your taste.
- Finally, and not available for purchase (or at least not yet), we have Liz Kauff's Constellation Pillow. Handmade using Arduino (open-source electronic prototyping platform), LEDs, wires, and your general pillow-making materials, it very may very well be the pillow of the future.

How do you fall asleep on the "pillow of the future" when there's a light shining right in your eyes?
That last picture is very reminiscent of Room Raiders (black light test). I think I'll pass.
Land of Nod sells a Stars Sheet Set and duvet cover that's pretty cute, too, but it's only in twin and full.
Oh my gosh -- love this post! I feel like it was written just for my astronomy-lovin' self :)
this would be so easy to DIY. i like it!
Anything glow-in-the-dark reminds me too much of a teenager's room.
These are really great, but Stellarquilts on Etsy by Jimmy Mcbride are even more awesome!
