Go to Home Depot for the Torx screwdrivers. They're tough to find. I needed a set and ended up spending half a day running around to hobby stores, computer stores, electronics stores, etc. around DC because Home Depot was further away than I wanted to drive. I would have saved myself a ton of time if I'd just gone straight there.
Beyond that, have a look at ifixit.com for guides on taking apart and putting back together. Very good, photographic, step-by-step instructions. I removed a hard drive from a powerbook not long ago with very little trouble.
