Cute...But at those prices, just get a new poang chair!
What a wasteful suggestion. I am glad the article linked to instructions on how to make a cover yourself, though.
This person is charging $90 for a cushion plus cover. IKEA charges $69 for the same thing with just a few choices of print fabrics. That's a whopping $21 difference.Sure, you can get a new Poang chair for $89---but it will have a solid color canvas cover. You can also get a new cover for $29, but again, it'll be a solid color canvas. I think the point here is to get something different and interesting that doesn't look like every other Poang chair out there and that will go with your other stuff better.I don't see the wastefulness in this if you buy the frame only to start with, or if your original cover needs replacing.
Oh please. I was calling the first poster's suggestion that one buy a whole new chair instead of a cover is wasteful. That's what s/he said and that's what I criticized. You're getting upset about something I did not comment about.
