What was one of the biggest challenges you faced in furnishing your small home? I found it most difficult to find small furniture that wasn't super expensive. Patience along with lots of thrift store, craigslist and estate sale searches has made all the difference.

Very cute!
A couple of the rooms remind me of something from a Doris Day movie.
great colors!
I like it. It's very DC, actually, particularly the vintage finds. I wish your curtains were a bit longer in that last picture, but otherwise you've combined your pieces very well.
so creative and cozy! love it !
very cozy & colorful - adorable!
It's definitely unique. That headboard is pretty eclectic! I want it.
I like your kitty!! And the rest of your design too :)
very retro..i luv luv ur style!!
I love what you have done with color in the dining room and the kitchen, but I think the living room feels a little off. Maybe you could repaint that lavender pillar in a color that matches something else in the room? It also seems like you should use the pillar to showcase one of your large lovelier houseplants. That spindly one looks a little lonely. Just a thought. Thanks for sharing and good luck :-)
some very cute little spaces here,
but really really not my style.
I don't know about you guys, but I could sure go for some pretzels up in this piece.
I like how eclectic your place is!
I like the small pieces of furniture you found to outfit your home, especially that little corner settee. Things are scaled properly so it gives the appearance of more room -- that's really hard to do on a budget.
LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR APT.!!! Especially the blue chairs and table:)mmmmmm nostalgia:)
Great looking apartment. Wish I didn't have kids it would suit me just fine.
So gorgeous! I have saved the pictures for inspiration when I move and need to re-decorate.. LOVE IT!
I'm so jealous of all your fantastic vintage finds! Much love for that corner settee and your dining set.
Your home is like the interior of the perfect movie set. Beautiful place!
You have a great eye for coordinating a small space. And I love how you decorated your kitchen!
I love the Sheldon addition! It is so beautiful!
niiice one
pink chair= ally totah's future wedding present?
maybe
alright cool :)
Not many people have the creativity and imagination to do what you have done with your place. I have seen the "eclectic/parisian" style attempted before but never as successfully as yours. It looks ornate and antique but also comfy and inviting. Nothing you have seems randomly forced upon the space or out of order. I envy your abilities. I have about 1900 sqft where I live and my apartment looks like a crack den that I've been squatting in for the last two or three years. Ferrel cats roam around freely stealing unattended food and I start bonfires in the center of the dining room when I'm cold. Do they have a contest for that kind of living situation? Love your lion/cat. Very exotic.
i'm in the minority... I think it looks like my grandmother's house. i find it really depressing.
I LOVE this apt!!! I want a dollhouse replica for my children.
The petite scale is very cute, but I want to reupholster the couch and chair (grandma) and paint/refinish the headboard and mirror (hotel in need of an update) to freshen them up . The orange and green accents in the kitchen really bring it to life.
This is so more than just apartment. It's a delightful, cozy, colorful home. Sure wish Suzanne lived in New York to help me with my decorating!!
The pink furniture is so romantic and glamourous.
How lovely!
Cute and Quirky!
