What is your favorite element of your Small & Cool home? One of my favorite things about my apartment is the way the sunlight reaches the living room making it feel light and welcoming. I love working in my home office with the doors to the balcony wide open and the sunlight and the air in my face. Oh... and I've got the worlds best neighbors — an elderly couple who makes sure that there are fresh flowers in the staircase, and that I get the newspaper without it being all crumbled up.

What was one of the biggest challenges you faced in furnishing your Small Cool home? I wanted to have a separate room for my home office, which meant I had to cancel the dining room and find an acceptable dining table solution for my small living room. It was also a challenge making my gadgets, electronics and wires an integrated part of the apartment.

Great apartment. I love the green wall and the blue entry way. And your art and furniture.
Nice space, indeed looks sunny and bright! Good job, just the right amount of 'stuff.'
Love the blue paint in the hallway! Also really like your art!
Vintage macs! I have my SE/30 on one of my bookshelves too! ^_^
I like it. At first glance, it seems like there are a lot of things on the wall, but to my surprise they all appear to be very neatly organized at the same time. now.. the CD racks though.. one of them seemed to have shifted..
This is one of my favorite places I've seen on here. I love EVERYTHING about it.
I remember your place from last year and loved it, and I love it even more (if that's possible) this year. Wonderful!
lots of art hung on a wall done well. Perfectly organized and balanced by windows.
such a beautiful place. Personality, style, just nice...
I have definitely seen this before. Specifically, I remember those black wall-mounted cases and how one was crooked. Is it supposed to be that way? Otherwise there are some nice features here.
You mean there are some Danish modern furniture pieces still left IN Denmark?
loved your place last year, and love it still this year (with different photos!) - gets my vote again. good luck!
@hunter: lol. I would normally totally agree with you, but the other pieces, primarily the artwork really add a personal touch. It just manages to not be a vintage Herman Miller ad, but just barely. But haha, its the same way my space ends up not being an ikea ad, but just barely.
lol jacksonalonde
Fabulous job with the gallery hanging - it looks great!
Even though there are a lot of familiar pieces in the space, there are a lot of unique items too. Good job.
Love it, the color, the scale of the pieces, everything.
i like it a lot.....familiar pieces but i don't find it magazine-ish at all. looks lived-in and loved.
although i have to admit the CD shelves are a playful touch, they would drive me mad if i lived there!
Great style..I love it
lol. Hunted! I think your picture should be considered cheating! SO cute, so WRONG!
Lasse, your place is great, although (and I'm a picky b*tch when it comes to this) the hue of paint color in the hallway does not match the hue of the paint color in the living room.
If that is the worst thing I can say about your place - you're going good!
Congrats!
Beautiful place!
Bedroom looks so nice and cozy. And I loooove the colors in the hallway!
I love the colour of the entryway. And those windows are fantastic. The bedroom, however, is what really sells the look for me. It looks so comfy and inviting, while still having those clean, modern lines, and a good, orderly feel to it. The mixing of wood colours (and types I'm assuming) is also a nice touch. You're lucky you've got such a lovely place to live in!
Very cool to be able to see all the changes you've made since entering last year. Well done!
I want .... to be .... you ! Just for the apartment, I'm ready to leave my life as I know it to live in your apartement. That's how much I love it, really that much. I love everything at your place. The colors, the furniture, the way the light ..... Fantastic !
I remember this place from last year too, and I do prefer it this year - I think you've lost some seating from the living area, and added more art over the sofa (I may be wrong about both those things!). Anyway, I do prefer it this year, it's nice to see your place evolve, too. But I still amn't a fan of that crooked shelf, I'm afraid.
i wish i could pull off that artwork wall somewhere in my house. i love it!
i love the hidden at-at walker! aaand the rest of it is gorgeous too. :)
Gaa! Must... straighten... CD... racks...
I can't take my eyes off them!
Not me, I love those crooked CD racks. It brings your eyes to that area, otherwise you would not look at it, so it helps to balance the view . Anyway whose to say its crooked. ;)
I feel like three views of the living room is a lot. May just have noticed it this time, for some reason. Agree w/hunted about there being an awful lot of verrrrrry familiar stuff all in that one room. It does run together after awhile.
I love Herning!
I used to work for BoConcept and often visited
their headquarters there.
I remember you! The place looks great. I wish I could give you a thumbs up but voting is closed.
Love the playful touches of the CD rack and AT-T, the color of the hallway, and the art. The bedroom's a bit overstyled with the tray on the bed tho.
I looooove the use of color in your home!!! Beautiful space!
fantastic! Love the punches of green in the eames chairs and accent wall.
the blue colour in the entrance could have been so much nicer in a different shade and the green in the living room as welll it is too harsh in both places but loved the living room table and love the general feel of this home very nice .
i like it a lot (except for the dining chairs, coffee table/bench, and blue paint).
Hunted -- I understand.
I studied architecture and furniture design while in university and fell in love with anything and everything 'Eames', so I started saving up (very slowly, I might add.) Now, I'm about ready to splurge on a dining suite and would love to purchase the chairs I've wanted for so long, but I'm really hesitating because it seems they're quite simply... everywhere. There are a lot of great things to see on AT, but I agree that the Mid-Century Modern craze has reached its (unthinkable!) summit. The view from up here has gotten terribly boring.
This is a well-designed space and kudos to Lasse for submitting, but there is nothing really new or original here at all. It's a sad day. I never thought a set of bright green eiffel chairs would make me yawn.
