What was one of the biggest challenges you faced in furnishing your Small Cool home? The fact that we are under roofs…every tall furniture is prohibited! In the living room we stuck the sofa which is very low under it, and in the bedroom the bed…that we still climb on the get to the window.

White Enamel Four-P...
It doesn't look like an attic to me, it is so light and airy. I can't read the floor plan but love the space and the outdoor area. Wish you had a pic of the shower.
love the crisp white with the pink colour accents. I admire you for living in such a small space and yet have no clutter AT ALL (?!). Can you share your secrets ;-)
In the windowbox - are those birds lights? If so, I'd love to know where to get them. Thanks!
I love the paper chain over the bed and the paper disks in the window. Although I don't quite understand how you sit on the couch, the colours are lovely.
I not the biggest fan of cats but that little cat pillow is pretty darn cute.
I do like white clean spaces and this is so nice and clean. You have given me the inspiration to de clutter and clean my place right now.
soooo pretty, romantic.
@curiouslycuriousgeorgette: That's looks like a wolf pillow to me so no worries about the cat thing, hehe ;)
I am with whoever said they would have liked to see the shower! Really bright and lovely apartment, doesn't look small at all, and that's a challenge - to make a small home not look small!
so tender !!!
cute, cozy, actrative... like a doll house
Love the wolf...
Ditto on really wanting to see the kitchen and bath - they must be REALLY tiny, because the whole space is only 300 sq ft (?!?) and it doesn't seem cramped in the main rooms.
I love the fabric(?) chain over the bed.
Very whimsical feel! Do people often hit their heads on the while when they get up from the sofa?
What a beautiful space. All white is an excellent choice here - the attic is luminous and airy where as it could have seemed quite cramped and claustrophobic. Would love to see more!
@sassydo:
The apartment is 4 rooms, each accessed from an foyer/entry hall (marked Entree, just above the dark arrow in the bottom right quadrent of the plan). Counter-clockwise, beginning at the front door, the rooms are Room 1, Room 2, Kitchen, and Bath. Judging from the photos, it appears as though Room 1 is being used as the living space and Room 2 as the bedroom. It also appears that the office space is in Room 1.
The dashed lines on the plan indicate changes in the ceiling (above). So, in Rooms 1 2, the large rectangles running L-R indicate the extents of the dormers, the vertical lines indicate where the ceiling changes from sloped to flat, and the small squares are...maybe additional skylights?
I'm having a hard time locating the balconette on the plan - maybe it's off the kitchen?
What a delight!
i also live in a stark white small place and i was so glad to see this posted! its great how small touches of color add so much to the clean, bright walls. also, the hanging paper disks are adorable!
Ok...This is NOT 302 sq feet.
It can't be 29 sq mt and have 2 bedrooms.
I loved the place at first, cause I live in an attic, but was utterly dissapointed by the few photos and the fact that, well, this flat cannot be smaller than 30 sqmt.
Sorry, not possible.
the floorplan provides for 2 rooms, not 2 bedrooms. one room is a bedroom and the other the living room.
I love the pictures! I love the white and the slopping ceilings, the light... but I would like to see more... the kitchen, the shower room, the table where you eat...
Did you choose the laminate floor?
Dear all, thank you for your nice comments.
I'll try to do a quick answer :
- birdlights : Ikea
- the couch : yes we bump heads or lay down or sit on the edge : )
- the living space is about 28 m2 so that's about 300 sq feet. With the "loi Carrez", 28m2 is "habitable", but the whole surface is 34m2 if you count the whole space...I don't know if I made myself clear.
- Room 1 is the living room / study ; Room 2 is bedroom. You get into the apartment where the black arrow is, the bathroom is indeed super tiny, most of our friends are bent in the shower. The kitchen is quite tiny too but well equiped.
I didn't put a picture of the kitchen nor bathroom because I haven't really decorated them. We are renting the apartment so the finishing were not made by us, we did only the furnishing. so...
- no we didn't choose the floor
- the balconnette is not really a balconette, the plants are just hanging on the window, from the living room.
- the small squares on the plan are indeed small windows on the ceiling. Very bright!
- the clutter : boyfriend obsessed by tidyness : )
Hope I answered everything.
Best
@simplyoanna
I get it now: it's 34m2 but only 29 are "livable".
I guess I was just envious: my flat is 30m2 but looks a lot smaller!!
Love your place! And the birdlights are from Ikea?? Love 'em!
I want that wolf pillow! Anyone know where it's from?
The wolf pillow : distributed by Areaware, they're called the fauna pillows designed by Ross Menuez. There's a lot of different animals which you will probably all want to buy.

Thanks :)
Somehow I missed this entry in the first round. Love it! I'm usually not a fan of sparse decoration and so much white, but I can't help but change my mind when looking at what you have done!
where is that chair from? or something similar... does anyone know? I love it.
