What is your favorite element of your Small & Cool home? My favorite part of the apartment is the huge windows. Even thought they face North, the big windows make the place light and airy all day long. The best part of my day is sitting at the patio table in front of the window boxes full of flowers and having my morning coffee. With no outdoor space, this is the next best thing!

What was one of the biggest challenges you faced in furnishing your Small Cool home? The biggest challenge is the unreasonably tiny kitchen. I have almost no counter space! Luckily there is a ton of shelving and storage. The lack of counter space forces me to be clean and organized. Washing dishes has always been my least favorite chore, but living with this tiny, tiny kitchen I am forced to stay on top of it.

Really like this place. You're like me: Instead of cramming a sofa into such a small room, you use nice chairs instead. I REALLY want a wing chair. And I like the idea of having a table be the focal point of your little social area -- who doesn't love sitting in front of window at a table and drinking coffee and chatting?

Love it. Even though it's small, it seems like a really great place to invite friends. So cozy and, yes, charming. Utterly charming. My only question (surprised no one's asked already) is why you needed to cover your chair with that purple sheet? It looks like such a nice chair! I would've done a throw pillow instead. Just curious.
