What was one of the biggest challenges you faced in furnishing your Small Cool home? My split level only is 168cm in height so I had to make sure only sitting and laying activities could take place. So I made a corner in which I can read a book, or play some piano, or just dream about my future home decorating plans.

White Enamel Flatwa...
I don't know why, but I love those three chairs.
love!!!
those three chairs and those two lamps are wonderful.
Nice solution. Where can I get those wall hung lamps over the table/desk?
I'm loving the three chairs and the work lamps, I am terrified of that chair on the edge in the loft!
niiice, I love that workspace, and yes, that chair on the edge is also terrifying for me too.
Beautiful:) WHERE did the he get those lamps hanging over the dinner table? Stunning.
beautiful! i also love the dining area. so cool to have three chairs fit instead of two!
agreed, great lighting solution for your dining table, although I am not sold on the placement (don't like to eat under stairs). those stairs and that chair make the hairs on my neck stand up. huge ceilings...love!
love that rich color scheme
I also love the dining area with those three chairs, so simple and colorful.
Why are we seeing two shots of the cute chairs and not one of the kitchen or bathroom?
I love the place but agree with sally305... I'd like to see the remainder of the place please! Small kitchens are the most challenging. I'm curious what you've done with it, Stefan.
I just realized! There are actually 2 more chairs tucked around the dining room table. You could pull out that table and host a (take out) dinner party in this little place. How awesome.
(I don't think there is an actual kitchen, by the way--just a sink and fridge.)
Very nice!
wow this is amazing . awesome totally freakin
I love how sleek your place is. Love the art above the sofa.
It is amazing how those 3 chairs just make it all pop. They look like simple chairs but i think if they were all the same colour they wouldn't stand out - well done!
I don't particularly like the grey colour of the couch, looks a bit too...dreary? Like it could be livened up a bit with a throw or some cushions to sort of tie it all in better?
Brilliant! Very modern, but not a cliche.
Do you have crawl across the mezzanine to get to the bed?
Completely not my style but something about this place speaks to me. Maybe it's the colors or the light but I'm liking it.
love the wall lamps - where can I find them???
Rotterdam ftw! i knew this would be a dutch entry as soon as i saw the chairs. wonderful home, care to disclose the area?
You obviously have great taste!
Love the sampling of different styles.
Your apartment breathes personality in the best possible way. Thumbs up!
I am always impressed by the things people do with small spaces. In my opinion, it takes far more design ability and creativity to make a small space work than it does with a large space. You've done a great job!
BEAUTIFUL. I want to live here too!
I really want those lamps and those chairs!
Love the lamps. Nice work.
Hey Stefan.
I just moved to the Hague. Do you have any good suggestions for Dutch design websites or good furniture shopping etc?
Does anyone?
thanks
@cookandtell
There is a new store on the Overtoom in Amsterdam. It's called Friday Next and they have design furniture, plus, you can eat the best sandwiches there!
Neef Louis, Strand West and Loods 5 are good too! In the magazine '101 woonideeën ' they often feature new and good stores!
Guess no one is going to tell us where the lamps are from
^^^^^^^THIS!!!!! LAMPS!!! PLEEEEEEASE!
Pretty please?
The chairs in the first pic are the 'Revolt chair' designed by 'Friso Kramer' for 'Ahrend de Cirkel'. Its a Dutch design classic, that made it on to a postal stamp and is now in a re-edition.

The wall lamp called 'Panama lamp' was designed by Wim Rietveld (son of Gerrit Rietveld) For Giso Gispen.

love the lamps! where can I get these in the US?
For everybody asking about the two lamps; they are 1950's Dutch lamps designed by Wim Rietveld for Gispen, called Panama. They are fairly rare, but being sold every now and then. Expect to pay something between a 1000 and 1200 dollars for one.
