Did you know that there are entries in our Small Cool contest this year that are not only tiny homes, but also family homes? Here is proof that small with kids really can still be cool. Small Cool with kids? We salute you!
1. Cristin and Zach's 676 square foot bungalow is light and airy, thanks to careful planning of storage, and continual cleaning and purging.
2. Rachel and Dustin's 610 square feet is also home to a baby. In order to help their house not feel too overwhelmed with stuff, they were careful to choose double-duty furniture with storage, and avoid large collections of plants and books and tchotchkes that are difficult to keep tidy.
3. Francesca's 725 square feet home houses not one but two kids! Her number one tip for living well in a small space is "Declutter!!"
4. Liat's Tel Aviv apartment uses color "boldly and joyfully", perfect for creating a home where the flow of color feels natural, and a whole living space that is playful for kids.
Like the look of these nursery and kids' spaces? Check out the rest of these Small Cool homes today, and even more homes, here on the Small Cool page.
