Color Inspiration: Slightly industrial... Slightly Retro.. All within a rental space where the grey walls and floor coverings could not be changed. we've made up for that through using bright, zingy and stimulating colours - typically 50's inspired reds, greens and oranges.

Tip For Using Color: Color is inevitable in kids rooms once toys, books and artworks invade - so sometimes it's better not to be too rigid with your decorating scheme. Celebrate the riot of color that is a child's world in the decor you choose for their room.
Colors Used: Grey walls.. Beige floor! Original (mustard colored) Vintage Eames chair, Shinzi Katoh posters in retro oranges / greens - and industrial letters / vintage toys collected from all over the globe!

Love the wall of letters! Cool boys' room!
what a fun room! i actually like the gray walls as a neutral backdrop and didn't even notice the floors. are those letters all strung by picture rail hooks?
Oooh:) So happy to see my little fella's room up here. Yes, the letters are all strung on a rail with picture hooks. Another of those renter's remedies!
This room wins it for me hands down - just how I would love my sons room to look - well done!
Love it! WHere are the posters from? They're lovely.
Brilliant - you guys should win for sure! Love it
Thoughtfully put together.
I love the crib! Can you tell me what it is? (the one with the plain orange blanket and slightly curved top rails)
Love it: the red with the gray walls, the mix of stained and painted wood, very cool without being too "little kid". Love it!
