Color Inspiration: I fell in love with this particular shade of blue for our guest room and it stuck once we converted the room into a nursery. Depending on the light the hue shifts from icy to aqua and is pretty dreamy all around.

Color Inspiration continued: As the gifts and our purchases for the new little bloke accumulated in the space I found that the blue was a great backdrop for almost anything I put against it, from earthy to fluorescent. The mural is a nod to my pirate loving sister and a little inside joke.
Tip For Using Color: Spread accent colours evenly around the space for a harmonious feel and avoid grouping too heavily in one area.
Colors Used: Behr, custom colour.

may i ask what paint color you used? i like it very much.
Did you buy or make the driftwood shelves? Love them. Same with the fish bumper. . . very cool!
Lots of great touches in this room-- I like the shimmery bedspread, the fish bumper in the crib, and so much more in here. Where on earth did you find a plush seagull toy? Ahoy, matey!
It was Behr. I had the colour matched from a swatch, so no name, but the proportions if they had to mix it again are B - 108, D - 180 and E - 60.
Thanks mere - the bumper was a great excuse to buy the Heather Ross Swim Class fabric I'd been coveting. I made the shelves too - finally got to put some of my driftwood collection to use!
The seagull was a gift - but here ya go: http://www.douglascuddletoy.com/dyn_prod.php?p=DOU3826&utm_source=google&utm_medium=shopping

That bedspread is cool-looking -- reminds me of a mermaid's tail! :)
The fish in the crib are awesome. It's like a baby aquarium.
really cool mirror over the crib, too
